The CZECH TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY IN PRAGUE (CVUT), founded in 1707, is one of the oldest technical universities in the world. With the total enrolment of over 24 thousand students and over 3 thousand members of academic and professional staff, CVUT is the largest and foremost technical university in the Czech Republic. The Agent Technology Centre (ATG) (http://agents.fel.cvut.cz/) at the Czech Technical University in Prague (CVUT) is a university research centre performing fundamental and applied research in the areas of multi-agent systems, artificial intelligence, agent-based modelling and simulation, machine learning, automated planning, game theory, autonomous vehicles, transport system modelling and optimization, cyber security and critical infrastructure protection. Over the recent years, the centre has developed a strong research track exploring how advanced artificial intelligence techniques can be leveraged to make transport systems more efficient, sustainable, secure and convenient. The centre's Agent-based computing for Intelligent Transport Systems group now plays a leading role in several EU- and nationally funded projects and industry-funded initiatives focused on transport simulation and modelling, next-generation multimodal journey planning and intelligent transport marketplaces.
Leveraging its previous experience, in particular from the MyWay and SUPERHUB projects, CVUT will in the project lead the design and development of the advanced EV driver assistance services and charging capacity allocation mechanisms. It will also contribute overall platform design and architecture.
